Physical-layer data encryption using digital chaos in OFDM-PON
TeCIP Institute will hold a meeting of its Seminar Series on Monday, February 11, 2019: Adnan A.E. Hjomer, from Shanghai Jiao Tong University, will present the seminar: "Physical-layer data encryption using digital chaos in OFDM-PON".
The digital chaos-based secure OFDM data encryption approaches are presented including signal scrambling approaches: selective mapping (SLM), partial transmit sequence (PTS); and precoding approaches: discrete Fourier transform (DFT) and Walsh-Hadamard transform (WHT). These encryption schemes are proposed to enhance the physical-layer security by introducing a huge key space associated with digital chaos for OFDM-PON, while the pseudo-random properties of digital chaos are exploited. The evidences of these encryption approaches are presented in terms of theories, simulations as well as experimental demonstrations.
The seminar will be open to everybody.
